Worked on the G480. 10 years old. Three-axle. No shock absorbers on the rear axles, it jumped like a flea. The suspension looks weak, but it seems to ride well. There are no silent blocks, so it knocks on turns apparently. Good maneuverability. The body is not very good, heats up poorly.

I work as a driver of the MAN TGS 33.440 dump truck. The mileage of the machine has already exceeded 500,000, so I can draw some conclusions. The most important thing is that the engine works properly, and the traction is normal. The dump truck carries loads weighing 35 tons without any problems. The fuel consumption at this load is 52 liters per 100 kilometers.

For work in a quarry with gravel, definitely go for Scania or Volvo. I chose Scania for myself and it is perhaps the best truck in the world... the camera is excellent... the quality is superb... so go ahead and get one for yourself, don't hesitate, good luck to everyone.

After 3 years of working with the Р340 Scanias, I can confidently say that Scania is simply overhyped. In my opinion, it's better to have 2 Chinese machines than 1 Scania. The cost is twice as high and the spare parts are cheap. And it's not very reliable... especially the suspension.

With these machines, it's a matter of luck; sometimes they break down quickly, but most of the problems are due to untimely maintenance.

In the transport workshop of my workplace, we have 2 of these IVECO Stralis 360 dump trucks for coal transportation. In short, the IVECO is a maneuverable vehicle, even when loaded to the brim. It consumes quite a lot of fuel, of course, but for a forty-tonner, it is normal.

The MAN TGS 33.480 dump truck is used as a timber lorry. Its 480 horsepower is more than enough for full-fledged work. The transmission is manual, but it operates flawlessly. There was never even a thought of purchasing a dump truck with an automatic transmission. The driver's seat is comfortable, while the passenger seat is average.

One headache with this wreck. Mechanics constantly tinker with balancers, axles, brake shafts, spring brackets, springs, spring pins. I can list the breakdowns on several pages. My Maz didn't fall apart like this.

The machine is small and deceptively compact-looking, but it can actually transport more than two tons of sand. It's a matter of personal preference in terms of convenience, and maneuverability is so-so. It's difficult to start in the cold.

I worked in a quarry on the Scania T124 dump truck. Dirt, dust, and jumping around. But the machine withstands the shocks well when loading with "waste rock." If you take it for clay, no other machine will go properly. Firstly, the body does not have time to warm up (it is generally a problem on Euro models), and secondly, the side panel needs to be removed and loaded in the middle of the body. By the way, it has a robotic manual transmission, not automatic, just in case.
